Mother’s Day has been celebrated in style for 2025 with both a breakfast here at the nursery as well as a trip out to a local residential home, to share our love and appreciation for all the mums out there.
Mother’s Day breakfast
Mums were invited to share breakfast with their children at the nursery as part of Castle Lane’s Mother’s Day celebrations.
The children loved inviting their mothers in for breakfast, sharing croissants and fruit with them as well as presenting them with a lovely daffodil to take home.
Visit to Lenthall House Residential Home
On 3rd April, the children visited Lenthall House Residential Home, an assisted living residence in Market Harborough, as a part of our mothers day celebrations. The children decided they would like to share daffodils with some of the residents and staff at the care home.
On our visit we also made Easter cards with some of the residents, having lots of fun using the sticky foam eggs.
