pretty muddy slide

17 members of staff from Castle Lane Day Nursery in Market Harborough are currently training hard to take part in the Leicestershire Pretty Muddy® obstacle course on 12 May 2024.

With 1 in 2 people being diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetime, every single pound raised will go towards making a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work.

The challenge

Participants will be expected to climb, crawl and slide their way round the Pretty Muddy® obstacle course at their own pace.

The course is 5k (or just over 3 miles long) and with the amount of rain we’ve had these past few months, there’s 100% chance of it being a filthy mud bath!

It can take about an hour to complete the course on average, but there’s no pressure to finish in a certain time – it’s all designed for fun!

17 team members from Castle Lane will be completing the course in May and are keen to raise as much as possible for this wonderful cause.

Co-owner Harriet Gray commented “This is a charity that is dear to many of our hearts and we would really appreciate any donations, big or small. A massive thankyou in advance for any support you can give us. We will make sure to share lots of fabulous photos after the race!”

How can I support Castle Lane’s fundraiser for Cancer Research?

You can make a donation (however big or small) via our web page https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/team/castle-lane-day-nursery

Or pop into the office to donate if you prefer.

Where does the money raised go?

Aside from the credit and debit card fees, every penny donated goes to Cancer Research UK.
