Castle Lane made great use of its recent graduation ceremony for its Pre-school Room children to fundraise for much loved local charity HAB Anti-bullying & Mental Health.

A Registered Charity (number 1185297), HAB was founded in November 2011 by Marie Connor after her disabled son was beaten up on anti-bullying week. What started out as a Facebook discussion page soon turned into a charity which support adults and children across the UK experiencing bullying and mental health issues.

All HAB’s services are FREE of charge, fully confidential and aim to provide support within a 7-day window or sooner.

Castle Lane raised £225 to go towards HAB’s work. And following on from this generous donation, HAB’s mascot ‘Habby’ popped into the setting to meet the children.

Castle Lane Co-owner Harriet Gray commented “We are passionate about working with the local community and HAB Anti-bullying & Mental Health is a fantastic charity which supports local children, families and the wider community. This is a relationship that we will would love to see grow and develop.”
