We celebrated Mothering Sunday on Tuesday this year at Castle Lane!
The event was a huge success and allowed us to give thanks to and acknowledge all of the wonderful mums out there – including those who might not be birth mums, and those who sadly, for whatever reason, are no longer around.
Mums were invited into the setting by their children to be spoilt with a lovely breakfast. The children then gave their mummies a flower to take home.
These events are important to us all as they allow parents to gain an insight into nursery life, celebrating all the wonderful activities at nursery and build on parental relationships. It is incredibility powerful when children can share their nursery experiences and allows for a true holistic experiences for all.
