On Monday 16 June, to celebrate Father’s Day, we invited the dads in to share a special tea at Castle Lane Day Nursery!
The afternoon was a huge success, with brilliant engagement from the dads. So many of them came in to enjoy some quality time at nursery with their little ones plus a fabulous picnic tea!
The dads took part in a large variety of activities, joined in with both singing and story time and then sat with the children for tea time.
Nursery Co-owner Harriet Gray said “We have found that holding these types of events offers significant benefits for both children and dads, including creating time for the children to share their nursery experiences as well as developing their relationship with their dad. There was lots of lovely chat amount the dads, who gained a better insight into nursery routines as well as how to support the home learning experiences.”
